July 21-22, 2021 | A free online event
CARISCA’s Supply Chain Research Summit will bring together leading supply chain researchers to address development priorities and showcase locally relevant supply chain management innovations.
The theme for this event is A Supply Chain Vision for Africa. This free, two-day virtual supply chain research conference features four keynotes, six invited sessions, two panel discussions, and a dissertation competition. See the full agenda.
We invite you to join us for lively discussions on some of the many facets of supply chain management including healthcare supply chains, supply chain financing, cold chain transportation, global supply chains, sustainability in supply chains, and supply chain analytics. This conference is geared toward faculty and graduate students interested in supply chain issues and opportunities in Africa, as well as supply chain professionals. Our goal is to create a supportive network of pan-African supply chain researchers to facilitate large-scale collaborations and increase institutional and public/private sector and civil society organization relationships.
The summit will be hosted on the Aventri Virtual Event Platform. This means that it is important to register for the event before it begins, so you can log in the day of the event. Once you have registered, you will receive additional instructions about how to log in to the event.
The 2021 program committee is pleased to announce a call for papers for the best PhD dissertation proposal. CARISCA will recognize the winner and two runner-ups at the event. Submit your dissertation proposal for consideration before June 7.
