She graduated from the University of Mauritius with MSc in Social Protection Financing and also holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana. She has been involved in big household surveys as a field researcher in Ghana with various research institutions such as the Institute of Statistical Social and Economic Research, the University of Ghana in conjunction with UNICEF, ILO, World Bank, IFPRI, NDPC, IPA, DFID, and others. Adonu progressed to work as a junior consultant on a number of research, training, and capacity building projects and was involved in the Multiple Overlapping Deprivation Analysis (MODA) projects as SPRI\u2019s consultant to UNICEF in Sub-Saharan Africa, namely, Ethiopia and Zambia. She supported in building SP Database on Africa by the Manchester University.
