{"id":1843,"date":"2019-06-04T13:08:09","date_gmt":"2019-06-04T20:08:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/research.wpcarey.asu.edu\/real-estate\/?page_id=1843"},"modified":"2019-06-06T13:31:24","modified_gmt":"2019-06-06T20:31:24","slug":"mred-current-student-mentoring-program","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/research.wpcarey.asu.edu\/real-estate\/mred-current-student-mentoring-program\/","title":{"rendered":"MRED Current Student Mentoring Program"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"color:#8c1d40\" class=\"has-text-color\"><strong>MISSION:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To cultivate an environment in which students and mentors\ncan build professional relationships to promote guidance, growth and\ndevelopment within the Real Estate field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This program is designed to give students access to an\nexperienced individual to turn to for guidance, advice and direction, and to\nhelp students broaden their professional networks, enhance their classroom\nexperience, and prepare for and acquire insights into the job search process.\nThe official program will conclude at the end of the academic year; however, we\nhope that the program will provide the foundation for an on-going professional\nrelationship. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"color:#8c1d40\" class=\"has-text-color\"><strong>DESCRIPTION:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mentor program is exclusive to current MRED students. Students are matched with MRED alumni who are working professionals at the top of their game. The program provides a valuable opportunity for students to be mentored by Alumni who are working in development, investments, capital markets, management, banking, brokerage, corporate real estate, among others. The program adds an important dynamic to what students will gain while attending the MRED program. The goal is to enhance the student experience by creating relationships with Alumni who have shared the same educational experience.IMPORTANT NOTE: The Center for Real Estate Mentorship Program is NOT a job placement program. Mentors are NOT expected to ensure jobs for their Mentees. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color\"><strong>MRED Alumni Mentors&#8230;<\/strong>Requirements include: Alumni mentors must be employed and have graduated from the program prior to Class of 2017.
