COMPONENT 2: Stakeholder Engagement
Goal: Create a strong network by engaging policymakers, the private sector, and civil society organizations in supply chain research, education, and knowledge transfer.
CARISCA will translate research into development impacts by adapting the successful approach of ASU’s Frontier Economies Logistics Laboratory (FELL), which convenes and fosters collaboration between ASU departments, USAID, private sector partners, and civil society organizations to apply supply chain research to development challenges.
CARISCA will engage a broad base of external Ghanaian and African stakeholders to identify pathways for applying research to shape local policy and meet in-field needs. CARISCA will involve groups like Women in Logistics & Transport (WiLAT) and relevant civil society organizations in all activities to ensure inclusion and positive impact for women and disadvantaged groups.
